Lithium is the lightest and most negative element in the metal. Lithium thionyl chloride (Li/SOCl2) battery is a lithium battery with lithium as the negative electrode, carbon as the positive electrode, anhydrous lithium tetrachloroaluminate thionyl chloride (SOCl2) solution as the electrolyte. Li/SOCl2 battery has the characteristics of high specific energy, high specific power, stable discharge voltage, long storage life and so on. It is widely used in spacecraft, underwater weapons, navigation equipment and other military and civil industries. I believe that many friends are not very aware of the matters needing attention in the use of lithium battery, so today we will talk about it in detail:
1、External short circuit
If the positive and negative terminals of a battery are connected directly, a short circuit will occur outside the battery. If the positive and negative terminals of a battery are connected indirectly through other conductors, a short circuit will occur outside the battery.
2、check the positive and negative poles
Before installing the battery, be sure to confirm the positive (+) and negative (-) pole directions, do not install the reverse!
The pins are commonly known as solder batteries. Please take them from the packaging tray. The positive and negative poles must be placed in the same direction.

5、It is strictly forbidden to place it on the metal table at will
The metal surface (or other conductive table) is the conductor, which may lead to the connection of the positive and negative poles, resulting in a short circuit outside the battery.
6、Plug terminal battery
If the metal terminal of the plug cable falls off, use insulation tape immediately to prevent external battery short circuit caused by positive or negative contact.
7、Battery trademark and lead are damaged and unusable
When the battery is welded to the circuit board, place the battery label and damage the insulation cover of the lead to prevent the exposed battery shell and lead from contacting the circuit board and causing external short circuit.
Do not use the combined battery if it is found damaged.
