Il peut \u00eatre activ\u00e9 de deux mani\u00e8res\u00a0: soit automatiquement par l&#039;activation de l&#039;airbag, soit par simple pression sur le bouton \u00ab\u00a0SOS\u00a0\u00bb du tableau de bord. Une fois activ\u00e9, un SMS est envoy\u00e9 automatiquement aux secours via la carte SIM et le syst\u00e8me de positionnement par satellite. Ce SMS indique le mod\u00e8le du v\u00e9hicule, son num\u00e9ro d&#039;immatriculation, le nom du propri\u00e9taire, son num\u00e9ro de t\u00e9l\u00e9phone portable et les donn\u00e9es de positionnement par satellite, afin que les secours puissent d\u00e9terminer les mesures de secours \u00e0 prendre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Actuellement, la plupart des syst\u00e8mes d&#039;appel d&#039;urgence automatiques du march\u00e9 utilisent la batterie du v\u00e9hicule comme source d&#039;alimentation.
