Som f\u00f8lge af den h\u00f8je afladningshastighed og milj\u00f8beskyttelseskrav vil blybatterier gradvist tr\u00e6kke sig tilbage fra markedet, og lithiumbatterier og nikkelmetalhydridbatterier er mere fordelagtige.
